Microprocessor control
Up-to date microprocessor technology ensures easy operation. All function keys are protected against dirt and humidity by a plastic foil. A locking key prevents inadvertent changes of the programmed set temperature and defrost time.

Motorized coarse feed
The motorized coarse feed enables rapid trimming and sectioning.
Added comfort
The ergonomically positioned handwheel is conveniently accessible. A safety lock prevents inadvertent movements of the specimen head to safeguard user against injuries when changing the specimen or knife.

The LEICA CM 1800 sets new standards in cyrostat technology. Its external dimensions are tailored to the need for minimum for space requirements in a generally overcrowded laboratory.
At the same time, the cryochamber is spacious giving the operator plenty of room to work and enough storage space.
The cryocabinet is mounted on rollers.
Two screws ensure a safe stand. The main switch and fuses are easily accessible and well protected in a countersunk panel.
